Whew! It's busy here. This month we've been covering the release of the Nagraan album, which is now playing on Lush Mediacorp Radio. In the meantime, I'm working on a new Ambient style album with Cass Anawaty of Sunbreak Studios. This project is very much in long form, with most tracks being very laid back chillouts at around 70-95bpm. Some really good talent playing on it too, but you'll hear some of that later.
Also been on a spending spree. A few minutes ago I ordered the SONAR 8 upgrade, but to keep me going in the meantime, I've got Spectrasonics' new synth Omnisphere to play with. It's an interesting beast, the most interesting bits being the groove lock capability with RMX, which is causing some good grooviness.
And the new love of my life is now hanging on the wall of the studio, a brand new Taylor solid body guitar. It's a thing of great beauty and it plays like a dream. Here's a big shout out to the chaps at Sinamex who were very kind when I was a bit clumsy with it on my first day.
